This page was founded by Ingela Barnett to foster the
Clumber Spaniel, The Sussex Spaniel and The Welsh
Springer. Had she not been cruelly cut down so early in
life, I'm afraid she would probably have fostered all the
other Spaniels of the world as well.

We would like to thank our supporters, who have so
decently helped us keep Ingela's flame alight and her
flag flying. With their help we have been able to
continue her web-site and develop her breeding stock
as she had planned.

WHEN IT'S TIME TO GO !
A few generations ago the old were looked after by the younger generation at home. This was hard heavy and stressful work. Then the governments started funding "old folks" homes and the general consensus was that people could now end their days with dignity. Well, it didn't turn out quite like that, as we know from the horrifying reports in the media.
The clear consensus today is that if luck is on your side you'll die quickly of a heart attack. This is an appalling reflection on our society. Unfortunately heart attacks are rather hard to come by these days with all the wonders of modern medicine.
