Westerly Gaels

Jason is one of those creatures who is hard to describe without overdoing it. He and his six siblings were born on the 13th ( Friday) of November 2009. Patsy, Deuchars Glenscotia, is their mother and Frank, Westerly Gaels Ziggy Stardust was his father (sadly no longer with us).
The story of Jason's beginnings is similar to that of Paddy's. There were two families interested in him. One in Sweden and a swedish family in Abbu Dabi. Somehow it didn't transpire, thank God. As with Paddy I'll be eternally grateful that Jason stayed. He is the type of dog you can't get enough of. He is also, like Paddy, very popular with everybody. He is a charmer and of such gentle disposition that young children are immediately at ease with him. Like Paddy "Paddarotti" he sings/howls to "O Solle Mio" as do all our other dogs except Annica who feels such behaviour is beneath her. Jason was recently at the big Gothenburg dog show (2012) at the Clumber Spaniel stand and was a great asset as a representative of the breed. We showed him one day and he got an "excellent" (1st). He is, like Paddy, a late developer and rather lanky. One more year and I think he may give some of the other Clumber Spaniels a run for their money and if he doesn't, so what, we don't dogs for that reason. He's just lovely, nothing else matters.
